First Aid

Level 2 Award in  1st Aid at Work

Suitable for anyone who has volunteered or been nominated by their employer to fulfil the statutory duty of care as laid down by the Health & Safety Executive (First-Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982. Employers are legally responsible to provide the necessary First Aid cover at your place of work.  If the assessment of First Aid needs highlights the need for a qualified First Aiders, then this course will provide suitable trained personnel.  This course covers a wide variety of medical topic enabling the participants to deal with emergency situations with confidence in a prompt safe and effective way.

Course Content: 

Responsibilities and Reporting

Basic Life Support (Adult and Child)

Delagin with unconsciousness

Breathing related conditions

Burns and scalds

Soft tissue Injuries

Head Injuries

Incident Management/Casulty Care

Heart Attacks/Cardiac Arrest

Control of Bleeding

Choking casualty

Fractures (Breaks)



Level 3 - 18 Hours - Over 3 Days

Emergency First Aid @ work : Duration :1 Day

Paediatric First Aid : Duration 12 hours over 2 days , NICMA APPROVED
